<h2 style="text-align:justify">NSK TEQ-Y Maintenance Guide
&nbsp;</h2>

Good maintenance is part of protecting any precision endodontic instrument. The TEQ-Y should be cleaned, lubricated and reprocessed according to NSK&#39;s current instructions.
&nbsp;

Build Maintenance Into the Workflow
&nbsp;

<ol>
	<li style="text-align:justify">
	Remove contamination promptly.
	&nbsp;
	</li>
	<li style="text-align:justify">
	Clean according to NSK&#39;s instructions.
	&nbsp;
	</li>
	<li style="text-align:justify">
	Lubricate using the recommended method.
	&nbsp;
	</li>
	<li style="text-align:justify">
	Follow the appropriate sterilization procedure.
	&nbsp;
	</li>
	<li style="text-align:justify">
	Inspect before the next clinical use.
	&nbsp;
	</li>
</ol>

<h2 style="text-align:justify">Don&#39;t Neglect the Working Mechanism
&nbsp;</h2>

Pay attention to changes in the way the head operates.
&nbsp;

A mechanism that suddenly feels stiff, rough or different deserves inspection.
&nbsp;

<h3 style="text-align:justify">Avoid Improvised Lubricants
&nbsp;</h3>

Use the lubricant and application method recommended by NSK. Excess lubricant does not compensate for worn internal components.
&nbsp;

<h3 style="text-align:justify">Store Carefully
&nbsp;</h3>

Avoid placing the TEQ-Y where it can fall, collide with other instruments or become contaminated after reprocessing.
